This Billing & Cancellation Policy explains how billing, renewal, cancellation, suspension, outstanding balances, reactivation, and billing-related disputes are handled for Residential VPS, Residential RDP, and all related digital services provided by ResidentialVPS.com.
By using our services, placing an order, or paying an invoice, you are deemed to have read and agreed to all terms set out in this policy.
All services operate on a defined billing cycle, which will be displayed on the order page, invoice, or within your Customer Portal. Available billing cycles include:
Invoices may be generated automatically prior to your renewal date. As a customer, you are responsible for:
Customers are required to pay the full invoice amount by the due date. Partial, delayed, or incomplete payments may result in any of the following:
Services enrolled in auto renewal will be prepared for renewal on the applicable renewal date. When auto renewal is active:
To cancel a service, both of the following steps must be completed. Completing only one step does not constitute a valid cancellation.
If you experience difficulty completing either step, contact our Technical Support or Billing Department immediately. ResidentialVPS.com is not responsible for incomplete cancellation submissions.
If both steps are not completed, the following may apply:
A cancellation is only considered complete when all four of the following have occurred: the portal request has been submitted, the support ticket or email confirmation has been received, the Billing Team has reviewed the request, and ResidentialVPS.com has issued a written Cancellation Confirmation. The written confirmation is the definitive proof of cancellation.
Unless otherwise approved in writing, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. The service will remain active until that date and no partial-period refund will be issued.
Retroactive cancellations or billing reversals for prior billing periods are not accepted after the service has been used. A cancellation can only stop future renewals — it cannot reverse charges that have already been incurred.
If a payment is not received by the invoice due date, any of the following may occur:
If an outstanding balance remains unpaid for an extended period, the following may occur:
Reactivation of an expired, suspended, or terminated service is entirely at ResidentialVPS.com's discretion. Reactivation may require:
A mandatory Reactivation Fee applies to all expired or terminated services, regardless of service package, plan, or billing cycle.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically create refund eligibility. All refund decisions are governed solely by our Refund Policy. Cancellations for any of the following reasons will not result in a refund:
The following are not accepted as valid grounds for a renewal dispute, chargeback, or payment reversal:
If you do not wish to renew a service, you must complete the full cancellation process — both the portal request and the support ticket or email — before the renewal date.
ResidentialVPS.com does not have direct control over fees charged by payment gateways, banks, currency conversion services, or third-party processors. In the event of a refund or billing adjustment, these fees may be deducted from the amount returned.
While any outstanding balance remains unpaid, ResidentialVPS.com may:
Full access and services will be restored only after all outstanding amounts have been settled in full.
The following actions may be classified as Billing Abuse:
Confirmed billing abuse may result in immediate account termination, permanent refusal of service, and referral of relevant data to payment processors, financial institutions, or law enforcement.
Following cancellation, expiration, or termination, data may be retained for a limited period or removed entirely. Collecting and preserving backups before cancellation is entirely the customer's responsibility.
Natural disasters, ISP failures, utility failures, infrastructure failures, government actions, or other force majeure events do not automatically cancel or suspend billing agreements. Where applicable, ResidentialVPS.com may take reasonable steps in response to such events at its discretion.
ResidentialVPS.com holds final authority over all matters relating to billing, renewal, cancellation, outstanding balances, suspension, reactivation, invoice disputes, payment reviews, and billing abuse. All decisions are based on a comprehensive review of:
